If Wealth Health and Wisdom Are Important To You... We Know Why

  • Wealth Health and Wisdom

These three components fit together and almost coalesce into a cohesive symmetry of what life is all about. Financial freedom leads to the free time necessary to pursue optimum health. Wisdom enables you to discover the paths that lead to both.

Take any one of them away and life immediately becomes less fulfilling. Take the second away and life borders on despondency or constantly trying to compensate. Your lifestyle will either be defined by having these elements in balance or desperately trying to correct that balance.

When none of these elements exist in our lives, purpose and meaning vanish behind basic survival. The human spirit yearns to soar unfettered by the fears associated with poverty and suffers even to witness this condition in another person's life.

This is why compassion reaches its zenith when confronted with people who have suffered devastating losses. We recognize the plight of people who are helpless to change their condition to the point that we cannot sit still; we’re compelled to help.

  • Wealth of Purpose

In every community or society people serve one another. Everyone earns based on who and what they serve. Those that serve a lesser purpose typically have less wealth and either learn contentment or seek out a lifestyle marked by abundance.

The mindset behind gaining greater wealth is therefore tied to serving a greater purpose. The good news is that anyone can acquire a greater purpose and therefore expect greater wealth.

This is the very reason why leaders are measured by their mission. The bus driver who takes a group of people to a concert has an important mission but the orchestra conductor receives a greater commission.

When you choose to do business you must first understand the purpose behind your business and how it will serve others. You can expect an abundant lifestyle if that purpose is valuable to the lives of others.

Clarity of intent is essential to maintaining integrity. When we fully understand the value of our service we can honestly expect to be paid for rendering it.

  • Wealth of Experience

The path of life never stops crossing ignorance and confusion. Even the ‘self taught’ individual never fully escapes befuddlement until by trial and error they’ve learned through experience.

Teachers, mentors and coaches will always be valuable because ignorance isn’t blissful, let alone tolerable. When a child can’t figure something out they usually ask for help.

A teachable spirit is always rewarded because experience is attracted to this disposition like a magnet.

Your wealth of experience may not be readily evident. Discovering the value of your experience may be a difficult task but bear in mind, someone, somewhere is paying somebody for what you know.

  • Wealth of Character

Everyone loves stories. Stories far out last anything else we ever learn. When details are important, always bind them to a story.

Our own life stories contain a specific set of characters. Some we merely pass by on the journey, others we have limited relationships with and some become intimately woven into the deeper drama.

Only a handful will ever know you deeply enough that all of your character flaws could be listed or documented. You know them all.

Holding unswervingly to principles is typically the character that wins the greatest praise but more valuable is the character that is willing to stoop down to help others progress.

Humility will always be the silver lining that marks a truly wealthy character. A person marked by high ideals and moral fortitude must also understand grace, mercy and love.

  • Wealth of Possessions

Your estate is comprised of much more than the financial fortune that can be amassed in a lifetime. Your true estate, the legacy you leave behind, is a world that has been enriched by your presence.

Family, friends and community remember those whose wealth created favorable conditions or improved life’s situation in some way.

Many who’ve accumulated great wealth have been forgotten.

Although you can only stay in this life for a set number of years, your fortunes can last for generations. It is a meaningless proposition to think of them any other way.

  • Health and Vitality

The enjoyment of riches without health is empty and shallow. Anyone who seriously intends to grow rich also intends to enjoy those riches.

Our culture is somewhat confused because for some the pursuit of wealth has negatively impacted the health of others.

Learning to accumulate wealth is similar in this respect to acquiring good health especially as it pertains to longevity.

What started as a tiny subculture has become a predominant mindset with regard to healthy lifestyles.

While some in the pursuit of wealth caused ill health for many, some are generating fortunes attempting to restore people to good health.

Healthy people are contagious because regardless of how wealthy we are, we still want to be like them. Thankfully they’re more than happy to show us how; at a price.

The expense of poor health hasn’t escaped the notice of anyone in our age. While it’s true that people are living longer a great many have little to no vitality left in their waning years.

  • Health and Wisdom

From understanding what foods to eat, to learning how to stay physically fit, people are exercising wisdom in order to stay healthy.

Wisdom also teaches us that a healthy person is able to pursue wealth more aggressively than an unhealthy person can.

Wisdom can indeed make one wealthy and healthy but the path to this goal requires the accumulation of information and discernment.

There are many people who would love to sell you financial advice, just as there are a growing number of competing voices telling you what is healthy and what is not.

I’ve been a student of nutrition for my entire adult life yet still discover new things. Yet they all get measured against standards that are beyond human manipulation.

I’ve lived through several socio-economic trends and there are very few voices left with the necessary credibility to convince me on what a ‘wise’ investment might be. I continue to learn and what I learn most is that every financial decision matters.

Mental, physical and emotional well being are the outcome of what we know and the decisions we make. Poor choices in finance or diet both have negative health consequences.
